How important is our smartphone for us? Definitely a lot. But if used with care it can be our best friend, if used with abuse, thinking that it can solve our problems, it becomes our worst confidant. At other times, the smartphone was replaced by a notebook or a book, which in other eras could completely influence a person’s ideas and character. Instead in the digital age, everyone counts to the extent of the insignificant infinitesimal.
Our age is characterized by the chaos and the bombardment of the news, which between social media and other web news, takes us away from reality. So that the book remains the only instrument with whom to remain connected with our fantasy, that is, our soul that is also our reality which we change with our dreams.
If we precede the richness of books and culture, only the birds will benefit, as they have remained the only ones still to hold silence as a divine song.
The books are supported by the dreams of those who wrote them and support those who believe in dreams.
The Christmas season is one of the periods when you buy more things. Gifts are one of the undeniable ways to present yourself as guests in the homes of friends and relatives.
Often a gift, even if of little value, can represent a lot, even the symbol of a friendship. Among adults, it is often a formality. But how many Chinese products do we buy? Surely many. And although we don’t buy them directly from the Chinese store, the origin of most of the products, above all the technological ones, is Chinese. It’s funny to think how many of the things we use have been produced in China: it’s like thinking that every Chinese worker gives us a gift when we find a low-cost product.

“Dance Monkey”
(feat. Major Lazer)
They say, oh my god, I see the way you shine
Take your hand, my dear, and place them both in mine
You know you stopped me dead while I was passing by
And now I beg to see you dance just one more time
Ooh I see you, see you, see you every time
And, oh my, I, I, I like your style
You, you make me, make me, make me wanna cry
And now I beg to see you dance just one more time
So they say
Dance for me
Dance for me
Dance for me oh oh oh
I’ve never seen anybody do the things you do before
They say
Move for me
Move for me
Move for me ay ay ay
And when you’re done, I’ll make you do it all again
I said, oh my god, I see you walking by
Take my hands, my dear, and look me in my eyes
Just like a monkey I’ve been dancing my whole life
And you just beg to see me dance just one more time
Ooh I see you, see you, see you every time
And, oh my, I, I like your style
You, you make me, make me, make me wanna cry
And now I beg to see you dance just one more time
So they say
Dance for me
Dance for me
Dance for me oh oh oh
I’ve never seen anybody do the things you do before
They say
Move for me
Move for me
Move for me ay ay ay
And when you’re done I’ll make you do it all again
They say
Dance for me
Dance for me
Dance for me oh oh oh
I’ve never seen anybody do the things you do before
They say
Move for me
Move for me
Move for me ay ay ay
And when you’re done I’ll make you do it all again
They say
Dance for me
Dance for me
Dance for me oh oh oh
I’ve never seen anybody do the things you do before
They say
Move for me
Move for me
Move for me ay ay ay
And when you’re done I’ll make you do it all again
They say
Dance for me
Dance for me
Dance for me oh oh oh
I’ve never seen anybody do the things you do before
They say
Move for me
Move for me
Move for me ay ay ay
And when you’re done I’ll make you do it all again

Rolling Stone’s Brenna Ehrlich wrote that the song showed a “softer, sadder version of Eilish”, and described the track as “a meditation on fame”. Allie Gemmill, writing for Teen Vogue, described the song as “moody, slow, and introspective — basically, a classic Billie jam”. Gemmill also described the song as “dreamy” and “has [Eilish] apparently letting off some steam about her recent rocket to the top of the charts”.

I had a dream
I got everything I wanted
Not what you’d think
And if I’m being honest
It might’ve been a nightmare
To anyone who might care
Thought I could fly (fly)
So I stepped off the golden, mm
Nobody cried (cried, cried, cried, cried)
Nobody even noticed
I saw them standing right there
Kinda thought they might care (might care, might care)
I had a dream
I got everything I wanted
But when I wake up, I see
You with me
And you say, “As long as I’m here
No one can hurt you
Don’t wanna lie here
But you can learn to
If I could change
The way that you see yourself
You wouldn’t wonder why you’re here
They don’t deserve you”
I tried to scream
But my head was underwater
They called me weak
Like I’m not just somebody’s daughter
It could’ve been a nightmare
But it felt like they were right there
And it feels like yesterday was a year ago
But I don’t wanna let anybody know
‘Cause everybody wants something from me now
And I don’t wanna let ’em down
I had a dream
I got everything I wanted
But when I wake up, I see
You with me
And you say, “As long as I’m here
No one can hurt you
Don’t wanna lie here
But you can learn to
If I could change
The way that you see yourself
You wouldn’t wonder why you’re here
They don’t deserve you”
If I knew it all then would I do it again?
Would I do it again?
If they knew what they said would go straight to my head
What would they say instead?
If I knew it all then would I do it again?
Would I do it again?
If they knew what they said would go straight to my head
What would they say instead?
