Swimming is one of the most tiring things .. Have you ever seen the shoulders of a swimmer? They are huge … and probably hands too. Yes, because the hands are nothing more than oars (or second fins) for those who swim. And often those who swim are even faster than those who simply row ..
Regarding environmentalism, the sea does not grant many alternative resources such as dry land, where electric motors or alternative vehicles are spreading, such as scooters and bikes. And so the greatness of those who swim is seen only from the competitive point of view and never from the environmental point of view … where they could spread green messages as you do on the streets ..
Month: January 2020
DanteDì (DanteDay) it was established yesterday (17 January 2020) and will commemorate the 700 years of the Italian literary genius.
The Minister of Cultural Heritage and Activities, Dario Franceschini proposed the day for the commemoration of Dante and yesterday (17 January 2020) has been approved by the Council of Ministers. The day chosen is March 25, which is considered by many to be the day on which the long journey to the afterlife begins.
The proposal of the national day dedicated to Dante Alighieri as well as being the subject of several parliamentary acts had collected the adhesion of intellectuals and scholars and prestigious cultural institutions from the Accademia della Crusca, to the Società Dantesca, to the Dante Alighieri Society, to the Association of the Italianists to the Italian Society for the study of medieval thought.
These are the words of Minister Franceschini:
“Every year on March 25, the date that scholars recognize as the beginning of the journey into the afterlife of the Divine Comedy, Dantedi ‘will be celebrated. A day to remember Dante’s genius throughout Italy and throughout the world with many initiatives that will see a strong involvement of schools, students and cultural institutions ». «A year after the celebrations of the 700 years since Dante’s death – added Franceschini – there are already many projects under consideration by the Committee for the celebrations chaired by prof. Carlo Ossola. Dante – concluded Franceschini – remembers many things that hold us together: Dante is the unity of the country, Dante is the Italian language, Dante is the very idea of Italy “.
Oscar nominations 2020
Like every year, the Oscar nominations capture everyone’s attention and interest, especially to consider which is actually the best film. Although from an theoretical point of view the Oscar should represent the best film, it often represents the most successful film, which is not necessarily the best.
This year the most successful film was Joker and in fact Joaquin Phonenix was nominated for 11 nominations. If the film is really the best there would be much to debate. I honestly don’t like it, although I haven’t seen it. Already the idea of going to see the film of one character extrapolated from another makes me lose my curiosity.
Nominations are also often given as career awards. There would be many famous actors who could receive it because they still lack the statuette. Among these is certainly Bred Pitt. But there are also many other names, such as Tom Cruise who, however, this year is not among the candidates for the Oscar and who next year could certainly win the statuette with his new film and sequel TOPGUN2.
While in the United States the winners of the statuettes are expected, in Italy Checco Zalone conquers the cinemas with his Tolo Tolo. And another film that is very controversial is the one about Bettino Craxi, which offers a rehabilitated image of the politician, who has always been considered a condemned man, despite being exiled to Tunisia to escape the condemnation of Italian justice.
This is a partial list of all the Oscar nominations, the main ones.

The criticisms of the foreign minister (M5S) Luigi Di Maio
In recent days the Italian foreign minister, Luigi Di Maio, is being borbarded by criticism from all over the country. The question is very simple: the moment of conflict in the Middle Eastern countries.
Although Di Maio has been foreign minister for just 5 months, he is trying to assert his decisions but is criticized every day because the strategic importance of Libya is fundamental for Italy. Although many people speak of economic interests, especially those of Gas, it is also of fundamental importance for the balance of migration, which constantly spills illegal immigrants on the Italian coasts.
It is a painful moment for the government and for Di Maio who have to face various still unresolved issues. In fact, some measures taken are still at the starting point, such as the cut of parliamentarians, who despite the decree having been voted on in the Senate, the request for annulment has been made and in the coming months we will vote in the referendum.
Other important issues are the electoral law, which has been under discussion for a long time and on which no solution has yet been found.
In addition, the electoral law is continuously changed between proportional and majority.
The final issue on the discussion table is that of the withdrawal of motorway concessions for the Benetton family company.
The intention of the revocation began with the tragedy in Genoa with the collapse of the Morandi bridge, in which the Atlantia company had the demerit of not having carried out the right maintenance checks.
The ‘il fatto quotidiano’ (newspaper very close to the “Movimento Cinque stelle”) even criticized Di Maio insinuating that he could step down from both the role of minister and that of leader of the Movement. Although there are storms of criticism, the government does not seem to risk falling.
The government could risk falling if Salvini manages to win the regional elections in Emilia Romagna.
The banana of the artist Maurizio Cattalan

In 2019 the Italian and Paduan artist Maurizio Cattelan realizes “comedian”, an artistic performance that revolves around a banana hanging on the wall with adhesive tape.
This work has gone around the world, commented above all on social media, where people have delighted in criticism. Indeed, it is truly unusual to see such a work, and one must ask whether this “simplistic” work was successful only because it was created by a well-known artist.
In Italy, as in the rest of the world, people are indulged in making fun of the work by making a similar one with sausages, salami or similar things. The work was even more successful precisely because the mass media like TV talked about it ironically about the work. We hope not to witness some strange works like this year last year.

Eravamo così belli o almeno ci sembrava
E ci ridiamo ancora
E ci piangiamo ancora qua

Quanto traffico in testa
E poi domani, poi domani, poi domani
Io ti porto via con me
Su una cometa che si avvera

Dimmi a domani per sempre
Quanto caos nelle testa, è perfetto così

The current situation (war) with Iran

What will happen in the next few days or months? This is the question that everyone is asking, especially after the reaction of the Asian markets following the American raid.
Because a possible war could destabilize world markets (and stock exchanges) by generating economic crises. The price of gold and oil have already gone up. And gold has reached its listing record since 2013.
Trump gave his word that as long as he is president of the United States, Iran will never have a nuclear weapon. This is in fact the reason for the current conflict.
General Soleimani killed by the drone was planning nuclear weapons as well as possible conflicts with other countries.
The united states are supported by many countries. Israel has said it will support Trump’s action as he considers Soleimani’s work bankrupt, having killed hundreds of innocents.
Instead, France has declared that it will not withdraw troops drom Iraq, where they currently reside, and where they explicitly support the United States.
It is always difficult to judge the action of the United States, which are often the judgments of the diplomatic balances of the world, but also and above all of peace in the world. Many believe that this conflict was triggered to overshadow the judicial problems of President Trump, who in recent weeks has suffered numerous accusations and impeachment for having illegally influenced Ukraine in the voting.
Others believe that the conflict was triggered also by economic interests, mainly due to that of oil. The truth is that the United States is always responsible for the balance of the world, but often by abusing its power, it chooses the timing and methods most suited to them.
Reform of Italian justice: the removal of the prescription of legal processes
The central point of the parliamentary debate of these months is the reform of justice which contains the removal of the prescription, which is currently foreseen for almost all trials, except those for massacres.
The prescription has been the debate of Italian justice for years, because many consider it as the remedy for the infinite length of some trials, which often last a lifetime for the accused. But others instead view it as a salvation for some criminals, often those wealthy people who can afford to pay the best lawyer who can drive the trial for decades.
This reform is mainly supported by the five star movement which is the creator and is supported by the PD, which is currently the coalition party together with the Five Star Movement.
The prescription in the other states exists only for specific and singular cases and that therefore for most of the processes cannot be implemented. In Italy, unfortunately, where the trial times are very long, this expedient was used which in reality had to be applied only in specific cases and which instead allowed many people to save themselves from very serious crimes, such as the mafia crime. and corruption.
The war of the United States

There are many pretexts to start a war. Most of the time it is a reason to get hold of oil. Other times instead for interests of other raw materials. But it can also happen that the reasons are more (serious) as for example those of nuclear weapons. Iran has been repeatedly warned of nuclear weapons, the construction of which has often been kept in the dark about public opinion.
A few days ago the US killed the Iranian general Soleimani who raised fears of a new conflict that could involve many world countries. any suspected that the drone that killed the general left from the US military base in Sicily, but the Italian defense ministry denied today.
In the modern era, the most technological countries have unimaginable weapons for countries of “modest” size. In the future, nuclear wars are likely to be fought from an IT point of view, attacking the vital servers of the systems and cities to be affected.
