Diablo Immortal will be released on June 2, 2022

There are just a few days left until the official launch of Diablo Immortal, the mobile spin-off of Blizzard Entertainment’s iconic dungeon crawler. The action RPG, also released on PC, offers a brand new setting and a brand new story, as well as six different classes with which to venture into the world of Sanctuary. Ahead of the upcoming global debut, the development team has shared all the details related to the release on iOS, Android and Windows.

“Skarn, Lord of Damnation, has amassed his warmongering forces in anticipation of your imminent arrival at Sanctuary. With an ashen look and horrible frown, the demon lord murmurs … ‘We are waiting for you.'” Thus Diablo Immortal welcomes the wanderers of Sanctuarium, the heroes destined to thwart the nefarious plans of Skarn.

The launch of Diablo Immortal is set for June 2 at 19.00 (Italian time) for iOS and Android. Some players, Blizzard explains, will see the title available in the App Store and Google Play on the morning of June 1 – a discrepancy that “is partly due to how mobile games are released” and which serves “to ensure smooth delivery. complete for the mobile version of Immortal “. To find out when you can download in your region, you can consult the table shared a few hours ago by Blizzard itself.

Also from 2 June it will be possible to access the PC version of Diablo Immortal, available in open beta: it is already possible to pre-load via Battle.net. We remind you that to access Immortal on PC it is necessary to have installed the Battle.net application and to log in with an existing account. On Android and iOS, however, simply download the game from the related digital stores, click on the Install button and let the download complete.

In the post published on the Blizzard Entertainment blog, it is possible to consult a series of FAQs that clarify all the possible doubts related to the launch of the game on mobile and PC.

WhatsApp, the ‘Edit’ option for invitation messages is coming

WhatsApp is working on various features to improve the user experience and get back in parallel with the services of the competition. And, among the improvements in the pipeline, there is one that probably will be very welcome to users: the possibility (finally) to modify messages, perhaps containing errors.

WhatsApp, the ability to edit messages is finally being developed

The news has just been reported by the prolific WABetaInfo, and it should be in the future (we don’t know exactly when) in WhatsApp’s Android, iOS and desktop clients. Font wrote that the development team is “working on a new option that will consent to edit text messages” and that “there probably won’t be a history of changes to check for previous post changes”.

WhatsApp, the ability to edit messages is finally being developed
To date, WhatsApp does not agree to change the messages received in any way. The only weapon available to the user to correct a typo or a spelling mistake is to delete the message (an operation that still keeps a warning on the chat) and rewrite it from scratch. With the change option, the procedure will be much more streamlined and linear, as is already the case with other statutory message services with which the Meta app can compete directly.

WABetaInfo also showed a screenshot of the new modifier key, but did not mention a period within which it will be opportune to see the new feature arrive on the stable versions of the client. Furthermore, WhatsApp has never confirmed the arrival of the option which – although very unlikely – could be eliminated from the company’s plans if the tests do not bring the desired results.

Zuckerberg’s messaging client may add more news in the near future, such as a feature that allows users to “silently” exit groups, with the warning only appearing to group admins. There will also be premium subscription plans for the business version of the application, which will offer the ability to use the same account for up to 10 users.

1° June (’22): International Parents Day

Parents’ Day is observed in South Korea on May 8 and in the United States (fourth Sunday of July). The South Korean designation was established in 1973, replacing the Mother’s Day previously marked on May 8, and includes public and private celebrations. The United States day was created in 1994 under President Bill Clinton. June 1 has also been proclaimed as “Global Day of Parents” by the United Nations as a mark of appreciation for the commitment of parents towards their children. In the Philippines, while it is not strictly observed or celebrated, the first Monday of December each year is proclaimed as Parents’ Day.

The United Nations proclaimed June 1 to be the Global Day of Parents “to appreciate all parents in all parts of the world for their selfless commitment to children and their lifelong sacrifice towards nurturing this relationship”.

In the United States, Parents’ Day is held on the fourth Sunday of July. This was established in 1994 when President Bill Clinton signed a Congressional Resolution into law (36 U.S.C. § 135) for “recognizing, uplifting, and supporting the role of parents in the rearing of children.” The bill was introduced by Republican Senator Trent Lott. It was supported by members of the Unification Church which also celebrates a holiday called Parents’ Day, although on a different date. Parents’ Day is celebrated throughout the United States.

In South Korea, Parents’ Day (Korean: 어버이날 Eobeoinal) is annually held on May 8. Parents’ Day is celebrated by both the public and the government. Family events focus on the parents; popular actions include giving parents carnations. The ceremony to designate Parents’ Day as an anniversary and to wear carnations originated in Christian culture in the United States. Western religion, culture, and Confucian ideas combined to make it a traditional holiday. Public events are led by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and include public celebrations and awards.

The origins of Parents’ Day can be traced back to the 1930s. Starting in 1930, some Christian communities began to celebrate Mother’s Day or Parents’ Day. This tradition was combined with Korea’s traditional Confucianism culture to eventually establish Mother’s Day. In 1956, the State Council of South Korea designated May 8 as an annual Mother’s Day. However, the question of Father’s Day was discussed and on March 30, 1973, May 8 was designated as Parents’ Day under Presidential Decree 6615, or the Regulations Concerning Various Holidays (각종 기념일 등에 관한 규정). When Parents’ Day was first established, the entire week with the 8th day was designated to be a week to respect the elderly, but respecting elders in the month of May was abolished in 1997 with October becoming the month designated for respecting the elderly.

1° June (’22): World Milk Day

World Milk Day is an international day established by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations to recognize the importance of milk as a global food. It has been observed on June 1 each year since 2001. The day is intended to provide an opportunity to bring attention to activities that are connected with the dairy sector.

World Milk Day was first designated by the FAO in 2001. June 1 was chosen as the date because many countries were already celebrating a milk day during that time of year.

The Day provides an opportunity to focus attention on milk and raise awareness of dairy’s part in healthy diets, responsible food production, and supporting livelihoods and communities. This is supported by FAO data showing that more than one billion people’s livelihoods are supported by the dairy sector and that dairy is consumed by more than six billion people globally. The fact that many countries choose to do this on the same day lends additional importance to individual national celebrations and shows that milk is a global food.

LYRIC

I had a bad week
Spent the evening pretending it wasn’t that deep
You could see in my eyes that it was taking over
I guess I was just blind and caught up in the moment
You know you take all of my stress right down
Help me get it off my chest and out
Into the ether with the rest of this mess that just keeps us depressed
We forget that we’re here right now
‘Cause we’re living life at a different pace, stuck in a constant race
Keep the pressure on, you’re bound to break
Something’s got to change
We should just be cancelling all our plans, and not give a damn
If we’re missing out on what the people think is right
Seeing through a picture behind the screen and forget to be
Lose the conversation for the message that you’ll never read
I think maybe you and me
Oh, we should head out to the place where the music plays
And then we’ll go all night
Two-stepping with the woman I love
All my troubles turn to nothing when I’m in your eyes
Electrified, we’ll keep turning up and go all night
Oh, we had dips and falls in our time
But we know what it feels to be low then up, alone in love
And all we need is us to go all
Night, night
Two-stepping with the woman I love
Night, yeah
All we need is us
What do you reckon, is it just me?
Words are weapons and occasionally they cut deep
Crisis of confidence, it tends to come when I feel the dark
And I open my heart
If you don’t see it, you should trust me
I feel like I got nothing left right now
Except this beauty in a dress right now
She got me feeling like the best, and the rest are just less
Than she needs, so we press play and step to the beat
‘Cause we’re living life at a different pace, stuck in a constant race
Keep the pressure on, you’re bound to break
Something’s got to change
We should just be cancelling all our plans, and not give a damn
Head out to the place where it plays
And we’ll go all night
Two-stepping with the woman I love
All my troubles turn to nothing when I’m in your eyes
Electrified, we’ll keep turning up and go all night
Oh, we had dips and falls in our time
But we know what it feels to be low then up, alone in love
And all we need is us to go all
Night, night
Two-stepping with the woman I love
Night, yeah
All we need is us to go all night
Night, night
Two-stepping with the woman I love
Night, yeah
All we need is us to go all night

Wild flower census, the weather and luxuriant growth … — The Sombrun Forest Garden Project

Having worked through the month on the Wild Flower Census, I think I may have been a little over-enthusiastic with species numbers last year! I have found that it is very easy to confuse species within the same family or genus of certain plants, especially those in the Daisy (Asteraceae) family – for example the […]
